Mega is a cloud storage and file hosting service offered by Mega Limited, an Auckland-based company. The service is offered primarily through web-based apps. The problem is caused due to network error, the website is available in the Netherlands, but if you try to open the mega. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network. First of all you have to download an app we will be using an application called VPN.
A VPN connection is the extension of a private network that includes links across shared or public networks, such as the Internet. VPN connections VPNs enable organizations to send data between two computers across the Internet in a manner that emulates the properties of a point-to-point private link. I would recommend to download T urbo vpn, vpn stands for virtual private network.

Yeah, I reported the issue in Sept and it never got resolved. After facing tons of trouble, I finally had to just switch to a different service for my cloud sync and backup. Sad to see that the issue is still unresolved. Happens to me all the time, especially, when syncing on a laptop that hasn't been used for a while at a time. The only solution so far, is to touch the files on the device I know they synced fine before, that kinda rattles it all up and the syncing then runs fine for a while - untill the next time this happens i.
Same here, raised an issue You should see some reason given why it can't process it, such as it has been modified recently and MEGAsync is waiting for it to be stable, or some other process has it open in a way that means MEGAsync can't read it.
If the reason given is not clear or is incorrect, please post details here. This reply is at least one year late. Last week I close my mega account because of this issue. I couldn't try this because the transfer quota is really small these days around 2gb. Someone suggested in that forcing a full scan solves the issue. I don't know if this will work for me because I'm downloading a folder, not syncing.
But I'll try. The 5 stuck files are perfectly downloadable from the MEGA website. The most of it has been downloaded locally but there are some files that cannot be downloaded. Most of the time, it is trying to download and it says "retrying" and sometimes "failed: Temporary not available". When I go to the log file, I always get the same error: "Transfer failed with error [transfer. What is happening?
Ah, ok, now the problem that I had has been solved. All files have been correctly downloaded. For me the problem is not very big, just annoying. There were 4 files, that couldn't be synced. Deleting them on the original device and pasting them once again in Sync folder was not helping. After this MegaSync started working fine again.
I think the problem was that some of those files were corrupted in some way. Fortunately where files that I didn't needed anymore. Therefore, the company does not offer support for this tool or update it to improve its performance and solve errors. Being a particular development, MegaDownloader has some bugs, that fortunately, are easily solved. This problem is solved by changing the download path to a valid one. To do this, open the MegaDownloader configuration by clicking on Options , and then, on Configuration.
From this moment on, all downloads will be saved in the chosen directory and the error will have disappeared.
Another frequent error is that of an invalid link. The first thing you should do, if you encounter this problem, is to check that you have written or copied the link correctly.
